Record label founder. Recording wizard. Power pop maestro. Wyatt Blair is a man of many disciplines. Blair began Lolipop Records out of his parents’ Laguna Beach garage in 2010 with a simple goal of recording his friends and sharing their music with the world. When Wyatt moved the label to Los Angeles in 2012, he inadvertently started a rock ‘n’ roll revolution – spawning an army of sweet-toothed teens with an insatiable appetite for the sugary garage pop sounds of Lolipop bands – most of them discovered by Blair himself.

Israeli shoegaze trio Vaadat Charigim are set to release their sophomore album Sinking As A Stone on May 19 via Burger Records / Anova Music.

This week the band shares the cinematic video for “Ein Li Makom.” Directed by Vaadat Charigim’s Juval Harring’s brother Tal Haring, the video depicts a night in the life of a Tel Aviv music veteran (portrayed by real-life underground legend Aviv Mark, ex-frontman of the Subway Suckers. The video also features a cameo by Ami Shalev from Monotonix. Stream the video over at WILD Magazine.

California-based pop maestro Bart Davenport recently released his latest musical offering ‘Physical World‘ via Lovemonk (digital / vinyl) and Burger Records (cassette).

Today he releases the music video for “Dust In The Circuits.” Set at a dance party in the hills of Los Angeles, the video depicts the struggles of modern dating. Directed by Cassandra Lee Hamilton, the video stars LA-musician Nedelle Torrisi as Bart’s love interest. Watch the video on BULLETT.

Boogarins get animated in their new video for “Erre,” announce first U.S. shows

A trippy new Boogarins video for “Erre” is now available to watch over at The A.V. Club. The video was directed and animated by Steven Mertens.

Boogarins have also announced numerous tour dates, including their first U.S. shows ever. They’ll be making appearances at festivals such as SXSW, Burgerama and Austin Psych Fest, along with some dates opening for Of Montreal in May. The full list of dates can be found below.
